Haneen Arshad

Haneen is an Architectural Conservationist at ERA Architects Inc. and is based in Toronto. She works part time on her business and artwork since 2018. ​ Haneen's passion for heritage architecture started to flourish in her last years of her undergrad in Toronto which led her to persure her masters in the UK. Edinburgh, where Haneen studied her Masters in Architectural Conservation, was a dream like city to learn and grow. Since the city was listed under UNESCO, she was able to grasp more of the international affairs of architectural/ urban conservation and its impact on its respective country’s economy, politics, identity and tourism​ While seeking for a position at a conservation firm after graduation, Haneen began an Instagram page where she posted hand drawn architectural drawings and reached an audience worldwide that allowed for bespoke commissions as well as international sales of her work. She has also been able to participate in international competitions where she became a finalist.

Her background in art and architecture helps Haneen create highly-detailed drawings as well as abstract illustration of the historic architectural sites with the use of graphite pencil and acrylic markers.
